I’m a self employed public relations consultant and freelance photo-journalist based in Adelaide, South Australia.

Photography began by accident in 2006 when I purchased a Panasonic Lumix FZ5 to take to Vietnam and Cambodia as my ‘travelling” companion. On my return I discovered I had a pretty reasonable eye for composition, and sold several articles and photos to travel magazines.

In 2007 I purchased a Pentax K10D and a month later went to India armed only with two kit lenses. I again sold stories and photos on my return.

In 2008 I went to Burma and cruised the Upper Irrawaddy River, and several stories and photos were publish mid 2009.

I still have the two kit lenses – 18-55mm and a 70-300mm (pathetic glass really) but recently purchased a 50mm f1.4 prime lens a 10-20mm, and an 28-105mm.

I specialise in travel photography and travel writing (generally in South East Asia), in addition to my normal work as a PR consultant.

My preference is for journalese and street type of photographs, and I don’t pretend to take beautiful photos. I like those that tell a story (although my early submissions to Red Bubble tend to be very general).
